Finally a model admits that she has to diet and exercise rigorously leading up to fashion shows. I’m sick of hearing them say they are naturally like that and don’t work out. Adriana Lima avoids carbs for the six weeks leading up the Victorias Secret Fashion Shows. She also has an intense training session with her personal trainer for two hours a day, six days a week!
That’s 12 hours of working out every week!! Crazy hey. It goes to show that hard work pays off. I don’t think this type of restrictive diet and excessive exercise can be maintained long term. So before you get any ideas you need to remember that Adriana is being paid hundreds of thousands if not more to walk in the Victorias Secret fashion show. That would be a big motivating factor for her to stay on such a strict diet, not to mention the fact shes going to be watched by millions!
Having said that, it’s quite inspirational and motivating knowing that its possible to have a body like Adriana Lima. Hopefully I’ll get there one day with the help of the bikini model program lol. Please remember that exercise and healthy eating are the key to successful weight loss and overall health! Don’t try to starve yourselves to lose weight because most likely the weight will come back again plus more.

And also, I only can eat green vegetables, everything grilled or steamed, or four ounces of any type of protein … And I don’t lift weights, I don’t like machines — everything I do is with my body weight … Every day’s a challenge, every day you’re stepping out and learning something new. So it’s wonderful — I like it a lot. It’s very intense, but I like it.”
