Cara Delevingne’s McDonalds Diet

Cara Delevingne is a popular model of the moment! She was the face of Burberry’s spring/summer campaigns in 2012, appeared in the Victoria’s Secret runway show last year and won ‘Model of the Year Award’ in the 2012 Brit fashion awards.

When asked about her diet, Cara says that she doesn’t diet at all. This was her response when asked how she prepared for the Victoria’s Secret Fashion show:
“I mean, I’ve been working every day in different countries, so I haven’t really had time,” she revealed. “I had McDonald’s for lunch [the day before the show] and pizza for dinner. I need to eat a lot otherwise I feel faint – I get in the worst moods if I don’t eat.”

It seems true too! She’s often photographed eating Mcdonalds. Perhaps she has an ectomorph body type. Click the ‘continue reading’ button below to see the rest of the article!

What is an ectomorph?

Ectomorphic: characterized by long and thin muscles/limbs and low fat storage; usually referred to as slim. Ectomorphs are not predisposed to store fat or build muscle. (wikipedia definition)

Even if you aren’t an ectomorph, it is still possible to get a body like Cara Delevingne. It just requires hard work and dedication! You’d need to go on  a diet that’s high in nutrients (salads, green smoothies, fruit), low in carbs and high in healthy fats & protein.

Remember, you should never eat less than 1200 calories a day (for women), 1200 calories are required to keep your body functioning and healthy.

Cara Delevingne doesn’t follow a diet. If you got here by searching ‘how to get a body like Cara Devlingne’ or ‘What is Cara Delevingne’s diet?’ then I’m  sorry to disappoint!

Comments

  1. I guess Cara also does not overindulge in each of these meals…since she knows she can eat them any time she wants, she doesn’t feel the urge to, perhaps.

It is possible to eat less calories in a day, even if you have these types of food, if you only eat a tiny burger for a meal, for example. Though that would not be very filling…but yeah, she also probably has a naturally high metabolism and is basically slim

  2. Yeah her age and high metabolism have a lot to do with being able to eat junk food and not see its effects. I had a friend who was rail thin and would eat fast food at every meal and then when she turned 25, she started gaining a lot of weight. Because she was so used to just eating junk food, it was really hard for her to start eating more healthy and exercising because of all those years spent not doing so.

  3. Well… I think you should not diet or exercise just to look good, but also to be healthy, maybe she doesn’t care eating Mcdonalds and other kind of fast food because she’s thin, but what about diseases or simply general health? :/
