I’m thinking of doing a new "Melissa Tests It" blog and want to know which diet pill you want me to test! Here are the options…

Caralluma Burn: Similar to hoodia Caralluma Burn is made from a south african plant called ‘Caralluma Fimbriata’. It works by suppressing the appetite and has been labelled as a ‘famine food’.

VS

Proactol: Is made from a non soluble fibre that was proven in clinical studies to bind with dietary fats and it keep them from absorbing in your body – so it actually helps the fat pass right through your body. It has been clinically proven to bind over 27% of dietary fats (and unlike hoodia can be bought in Australia).

Which one do you want me to test?

You decide!

i think, since youve already tried hoodia which is quite similar to the first one, i think you should try then second (proactol) and i think its great that youre making a new melinda tests it, i think you should do it more often or maybe ask someone else to do it (since it cant be that good to try new pills all the time) take care :)

proactol!!

PoshSpicey on August 27th, 2008 at 12:54 am #

I think the second one that is available in Australia.

Neek on August 27th, 2008 at 6:51 am #

The Caralluma sounds good, but can you get it into Australia?

I wouldn’t test the Proactol one because the ‘fat passing right through your body’ doesn’t sound very appealing. It also reminds of this pill that some lady was talking about on an episode of Supersize vs Super skinny. She said that it was really bad and she had to keep going to the bathroom. They are probably two different pills but yeah, it just kinda reminded me of that.

Try Caralluma Burn if you can get it in Oz!

bena on August 27th, 2008 at 11:14 am #

i think proactol because the other one is very similar to hoodia

and for Neek – the proactol doesnt make you go to the bathroom heaps it just stops ur body after time it absorb certain amount of fats in foods that you eat, you still to my knowledge go the same.

also ella made a comment about maybe asking somebody else to test something and i just thought that if in the future you wanted to give your body a rest im happy to give almost anything a go?

I’m kind of interesting in Proactol, can anybody tell me if it really works?

Zoe on August 28th, 2008 at 1:25 am #

Try proactol, especially if you can get it in Australia. You tried Hoodia, and the other one is so similar to it.

Becky on August 28th, 2008 at 2:42 am #

proactol :) pleaseee!

safi on August 28th, 2008 at 6:27 am #

I think proactol.. I´ts clinical proven.. I cant wait to see the melissa tests it!!

Melly on August 28th, 2008 at 6:38 am #

Caralluma Burn, I would love to see how it stacks up against the hoodia

Helen on August 28th, 2008 at 8:14 am #

I think proactol as if the other one is similar to hoodia then it will probally gie similar results so it makes sense to try one that is different!

alisha~jade on August 28th, 2008 at 7:42 pm #

proactol! I wanted to try that but I dont think I can get it in England :( but I am very interested in seeing if it works!
xxxxxx

Becky on August 29th, 2008 at 2:39 am #

alisha-jade it is available in the UK :) their website is UK based

i’m from Australia, so would love to see a product tested from here. however as a med student (with my limited knowledge!), i’d have to warn you about some of the potentially unpleasant side effects – including really foul smelling diarrhoea (if it really does stop you absorbing fat)…it would probably be more beneficial for anyone to take an appetite suppressant as you get the long term modification of food behaviour – just with a little assistance at the start!

Proactol please :)

Mairead on August 29th, 2008 at 7:26 pm #

Im intrested in either as long as i can get them in ireland!

And i think it would b a good idea if a few members tried it so we can compare the results!

I would be happy 2 test UK Diet Pills!

If you are looking for a good diet pill.. I have been taking ephedryne and caffiene pills together and have already lost 5 lbs in 3 days!! Also never hungry and have tons of energy, I’m able to keep up wth 4 jobs working 10-14 hours a day and also work out for at least an hour every morning!

Stacey on June 3rd, 2009 at 3:53 pm #

The Proactol!
Coz i’m in Australia….

Tara on June 17th, 2009 at 6:34 pm #

I’ve heard a LOT about proactol, one person wrote a blog on it and she’s already lost 90lbs in a short amount of time! I’m super interested in it, I would buy it but it seems a bit expensive and I’m nervous about getting it shipped here, wouldn’t want my mom to find it in the mail! Please try it and tell us the results!

N Shaw on January 23rd, 2010 at 9:17 pm #

Where can I buy proactol in Ireland, or Tenerife

Rebecca Ross on August 2nd, 2010 at 5:14 pm #

Ephydrene & caffeine??? Are you trying to induce a heart attack. I’m sorry but that would have to be about the quickest way into an early grave that I can think of. DO NOT DO IT.
