I have just finished reading an ebook by Tom Venuto (famous bodybuilder who competes at 3% body fat! A thin person is 25%) who explains how everything that we think we know about dieting is completely wrong! You’re actually meant to be eating 5 – 6 small meals a day to keep your body in fat burning mode all the time. For a while now it feels like I have been hardly eating but still not losing any weight. For the last three days I have been eating every three hours now and by meal time I am starving (this is an indicator that my metabolism is speeding up). It only takes 3 days to improve your metabolism but over time it can be sped up alot.
It’s called Burn The Fat, Feed The Muscle and I just wish I knew this stuff earlier. Here’s what I ate today…
Meal 1 1/3 cup oats, banana, linseeds
Meal 2 1/4 cup oats, banana, 1/2 carrot and tzaziki 2 tablespoons of cottage cheese
Meal 3 1/4 cup oats, 1/2 cup low fat cottage cheese, banana, apple
Meal 4 Lettuce, tomato and cucumber salad, 2 pumpkin patties with cottage cheese, protein shake
Meal 5 lettuce, tomato and cucumber salad + beans + cottage cheese + handful of almonds
