I’m thinking of doing a new “Melissa Tests It” blog and want to know which diet pill you want me to test! Here are the options…
Caralluma Burn: Similar to hoodia Caralluma Burn is made from a south african plant called ‘Caralluma Fimbriata’. It works by suppressing the appetite and has been labelled as a ‘famine food’.
This is a little snippet taken from the website www.carallumaburn.com which explains the history and how it was discovered that caralluma suppresses the appetite
Indian tribes chew chunks of Caralluma Fimbriata to suppress hunger when on a day’s hunt. This succulent is used amongst the labor classes in South India to suppress appetite and enhance endurance. Wealth of India, the Indian Health Ministry’s comprehensive compilation on medicinal plants, lists Caralluma Fimbriata as a vegetable and as a famine food. The key phytochemical constituents of the herb are Pregnane Glycosides, Flavone Glycosides, Megastigmane Glycosides, Bitter Principles, Saponins etc.

Proactol So far I’m thinking I will probably try proactol. I read some reviews about it on a proactol review site and one guy took it for six months and lost a crazy amount of weight. He was exercising too but apparently it helped him get to his goal weight 3 months faster than if he wasn’t taking it.
Proactol is made from a non soluble fibre that was proven in clinical studies to bind with dietary fats and it keep them from absorbing in your body – so it actually helps the fat pass right through your body. It has been clinically proven to bind over 27% of dietary fats (and unlike hoodia can be bought in Australia and most countries).

Which one do you want me to test?
You decide!
UPDATE: I ended up buying proactol and used it for 2 months in 2008. I didn’t do a before and after photos post because I wasn’t blogging much at the time. I did feel way less hungry than normal on proactol! When I took hoodia I was still kind of hungry but with proactol I would have to remind myself to eat at times. I honestly have no idea how much weight I lost while I was taking it (its now 2010, I just realized I never updated this post!). I can just remember that I ate way less food and had lost a fair amount of weight. My two sisters also ordered some after seeing my progress.
To order it you can just click the link below and it will take you to the official proactol website. Goodluck!
Don’t forget to come back here and post your results in the comment section so others can decide if its the right appetite suppressant for them ![]()
