Kristin Davis Eats in Moderation

kristindavis.jpg I didn’t know that Kristin Davis used to have an alcohol problem. I’m glad she’s all recovered now! It would be a shame to waste her talent. Kristen talked to Shape Magazine about her diet and fitness regime and also her battle with alcohol addiction. ‘Alcohol freed me,’ she’s often said. ‘I was really shy and I didn’t know how to come out of my shell. [I drank] for the same reason I loved acting – I wanted to feel things and express myself and be free. And I’m not naturally that way.’

What Does Kristen Davis eat?

‘I went through phases when I said I can’t have this or I can’t have that,’ she admits, ‘but now I don’t deprive myself.’ Her advice? Eat what you want, but in moderation. ‘I never let myself get too hungry. I make sure I eat every three hours or so, mostly protein, good carbs, veggies and salads.’

How Does Kristen Davis Workout?

She does pilates and yoga. ‘My teacher changes my routine all the time to keep me interested.’ When she first moved to LA 15 years ago she studied yoga and taught at her own studio! I think thats really cool. Kristen now mixes things up a bit with her regime because she got bored doing the same thing over and over again. She goes walking with her dogs in Hollywood Hills and pilates too. ‘My motto is not to do the same thing over and over,’ she says. ‘I got burnt out at the gym: I was completely bored by the repetition.’
