This isn’t the first time I’ve dedicated a post defending Mischa Barton. Unflattering photos of her have surfaced all over the internet and been published in magazines worldwide. Mischa Barton was photographed by paparazzi Jamie Fawcett (the paparazzi thats made quite a name for himself by really harassing Nicole Kidman). Mischa was on the balcony of her apartment sunbaking topless when some photos were taken of her in very unflattering light which revealed that Mischa has cellulite.
Just because she’s famous doesn’t mean she has to be perfect. Every woman gets cellulite at some point in their life and its just not fair on Mischa or women in general. So many women and young girls are suffering from eating disorders and I think its time that we stood up for ourselves! Why are we bombarded with pictures of stick thin models in magazines when the average size for a woman is a 14. Why aren’t there more pictures of size 14 models in the magazines? This is a healthy weight!
It’s not fair that women are forced to feel bad about themselves after reading magazines and seeing these images. It’s not fair that Mischa Barton probably spent hours crying after reading all the horrible articles written about her body. She’s only 23! I won’t be suprised if Mischa develops some form of eating disorder after this ordeal. I’m personally never buying a gossip magazine again. I am ashamed at myself for ever picking one up.
Here’s what Mischa had to say about the paparazzi "He’s a ridiculous human being. I’ve never abhorred anyone more. I was so angry I went up to him and said how disappointed I was with his behavior. He apologized but he was very insincere." She also said that Jamie Fawcett hired a speed boat and tried taking photos of her in her room.
To defend Mischa I won’t be posting the photos of her or giving links to where they can be found. Instead I am putting up a nice picture of her, she is a thin girl and very beautiful. Let’s stand up for women!
Seriously…what’s going on with society today. Teeny Mischa Barton is being labelled the new ‘fat actress’ in hollywood. I think the term fat is used very loosely nowadays. It’s easy for us to all sit here and diss somebodies weight from the comfort of our computer chairs when we ourselves may be bigger than those we’re picking on. I think its outrageous that Mischa is being called fat. Who knows if the following article is true or not…I’ll just post here what teen today is reporting.
