Victoria Beckham’s Alkaline Diet

Super skinny Victoria Beckham is said to be following an alkaline diet. Here’s an article I found that goes into a bit more detail!

 

vb VSIZE four Victoria Beckham has revealed the secret behind her uber-svelte frame – the Alkaline diet.

Posh, who has about as much flesh on her as the average Nando’s chicken wing, has become a devotee of low acidity, vegetarian eating.

While the Atkins diet was so 2004, the South Beach diet 2007 and Dukan 2011, 2013 is all about the Alkaline.

Joining celeb fans, including Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Aniston and Kirsten Dunst, the Spice Girl-turned-designer got into the diet after being given a copy of a special £20 book.

Called Honestly Healthy, VB tweeted her appreciation of the 106 recipes, attaching a link to it and writing: “Love this healthy eating cook book.”

While one of the benefits of the diet – the idea of which is to achieve an “optimal pH balance” in the body – is weight loss, it also claims other health benefits. Alternative medicine practitioners use principals of the diet – mainly that dairy, meat and grains should be avoided – believe it can help treat heart disease, low energy levels and allergies.

A low acid food plan can also aid the cardiovascular and nervous systems. Apparently.

On her new plan, 70 per cent of what Victoria eats is alkaline and the remaining 30 per cent acid.

This means a diet high in fibre from fruit, vegetables and wholegrains which help cleanse the digestive tract.

As well as drinking lots of water, it encourages eating spinach (raw not cooked), sprouts, nuts (except peanuts and cashews) avocado, broccoli, cold-water fish and olive and linseed oils.

Banned are sugar, fizzy drinks, pasta, white rice, condiments, caffeine and meat. Urrrgh.

Honestly Healthy, written by Vicki Edgson and organic chef Natasha Corrett, promises to relieve headaches, bloating, muscle pain and insomnia.

Recipes include quinoa porridge with macadamia nut milk and papaya and flax-seed green smoothie.

No one said being Posh was easy.

Victoria Beckham on Baby Food Diet?

Victoria Beckham is said to be following a baby food diet in order to lose weight. Who knows if there is any truth to the article but here is what the independent has reported:

Victoria Beckham has reportedly turned to a “baby-food” diet in a bid to slim down to her desired size.

The singer-turned-fashion designer has been showing off her slim frame of late in a variety of figure-hugging ensembles. Victoria – who is a UK size 6 – is said to have turned her attention to puréed food in a bid to be a “perfect fashion” UK size 4.

“She’s convinced she has ‘fat’ on her tummy and thinks it’s left-over baby weight. She’s set on being a size 4, so for the past few weeks she’s been on trainer Tracy Anderson’s diet and has lost 5lbs.,” a source told ‘Closer’ magazine.

“She almost has the same breakfast and lunch as [baby daughter] Harper – puréed carrots, fish and fruit – then a high protein dinner like grilled fish and veg.”

Friends are reportedly worried that Victoria’s new diet fixation could be linked to arguments with her soccer star husband David, following his snub from the British Olympic football team.

“When she’s anxious, she loses her appetite and she’s stressing over David,” a friend told the publication.

“They’re clearly still in love, but he gets concerned when she’s this skinny and has told her to stop worrying about her weight. But once Victoria decides to do something, she’ll do it.”

Victoria Beckham’s Ridiculous Post Baby Body

Victoria Beckham stepped out with newborn baby Harper yesterday (4th September) and was back to her old size 0 self. I’ve posted an article below written a few days ago on hollyscoop about Victoria’s weight loss!

And that’s how it’s done ladies and gents!

It hasn’t even been two months since Victoria Beckham gave birth to baby Harper and she’s already back to her old self.

Victoria and baby Harper made their first public appearance where Victoria showed off her slimmed down body. Obviously, the one thing they would do during their first public appearance is go shopping. It’s never to young to start!

Hot daddy David joined the mother daughter duo as they went shopping in Los Angeles.

Victoria looked great sporting leather pants, a black tank top and her sky high Louboutins. Considering the fact that it’s extremely hot in Los Angeles, I don’t know how she got those leather pants on or how she was able to take them off, but if anyone is going to do it, it’s Posh!

According to insiders, Victoria is already back to a size 0. Judging by the way Victoria looked while she was pregnant I don’t think she ever passed a size 2. The woman was only stomach. Guess some are just blessed like that.

After giving birth, Victoria suffered from a slipped disk, but it looks like she’s recovered just well as she’s sporting some seriously high heels. She had Tweeted: “I’m feeling much better and enjoying every precious minute with baby Harper. I’m so in love.”

Harper makes baby #4 for the Beckham clan and before people start giving Victoria slack for losing weight so quickly, just look back at all her past pregnancies.

She’s one of those lucky people who only gains in the stomach area and she goes missing after giving birthprobably to nurse and get the body back in shape.

The upside of being a celebrity is that you can have your handlers watch your baby for an hour while your trainer comes over to whip your body back in shape. Regular folks can’t do such things as they have crying babies and no help. That’s why the baby weight usually stays on for months.

Other celebs who lost the baby weight almost immediately after giving birth include Rachel Zoe and Nicole Richie. Kendra Wilkinson, on the other hand, recently revealed that she had a lot of difficulty losing the weight because she was also suffering from PPD. The good news is she looks great and feels great now!

She must seriously eat so little calories to maintain such a small figure. She has said in the past that she runs 7km a day though. Hmm…shes very very thin. Who knows what she does!

Skinny Victoria Beckham was spotted outside her swanky hotel in London. I bet that skirt is a size 00 or something! It looks tiny..she is tiny. That’s not new information though is it!
