The tiny Sophie Monk was photographed in a bikini recently, shes always been thin. Actually she wasn’t THAT thin when she first become well known for popstars in Australia. Sophie Monk collapses

Singer and actor Sophie Monk was treated by St John Ambulance crews after collapsing at the TV Week Logie Awards in Melbourne last night.

Monk, 23, was seen by journalists being taken in a wheelchair to a treatment room by St John Ambulance workers at the Crown Casino.

A spokeswoman for Monk’s record label Warner Music said the singer was simply unwell.

"Sophie’s unwell and has gone upstairs to rest, unfortunately. She wasn’t feeling well," the spokeswoman said.

Monk was resting in her hotel room in the Casino, she said.

Monk was one of the five original members of Bardot, the pop music group that was spawned by the first series of the Seven Network’s Popstars in 1999.

The group disbanded in 2002, and Monk launched her first solo album, Calendar Girl, last year.

Monk has also starred in a telemovie playing iconic Hollywood actress Marilyn Monroe.

Monk has been the subject of recent magazine reports concerning her apparent dramatic weight loss.
