Miranda Kerr At the 2012 InStyle Awards

I just had to post these photos of Miranda Kerr from the 2012 InStyle Magazine Awards. Look at that dress! Stunning!
Miranda was looking super skinny as usual. Do you think she’s borderline too skinny or just right?

Miranda Kerr In Harper’s Bazaar Shoot

Miranda Kerr is on the cover of the Australian Harper’s Bazaar (November issue) and she sure looks skinny! I seriously cannot believe she gave birth to a baby not long ago.

Check out those legs!

Miranda Kerr Clears Up Coconut Oil Rumours

Cosmopolitan recently quote Miranda Kerr as saying..”I’ve been drinking it since I was 14 and it’s the one thing I can’t live without. I will not go a day without coconut oil. I personally take four tablespoons per day, either on my salads, in my cooking or in my cups of green tea.”

Miranda took to her Kora Organics blog to clear up the rumours about her coconut oil consumption.

“There have been some confusing messages portrayed in the media regarding the way in which I use coconut oil and I thought it was important for me to take the time to set the record straight. Firstly I must say that I never did an interview with Australian Cosmopolitan magazine and unfortunately they have misquoted and misrepresented comments I previously posted on my blog.

When it comes to coconut oil, I personally find it beneficial and use approximately four teaspoons of coconut oil a day (in my salads and meals) not tablespoons.

Everyone is different but that is what works for me and I prefer it as a substitute to other oils that are more readily used in day to day food preparation and cooking. I suggest people consult with their health practitioner for what is right for them.”

What’s your opinion on coconut oil?

Miranda Kerr & Her Tiny Legs in New Zealand

Miranda Kerr was spotted running some errands in Wellington, New Zealand recently. I wonder what size those jeans are

Miranda Kerr’s David Jones Catwalk Body

Well this doesn’t seem fair! Miranda showed off her toned body at the David Jones Spring/Summer 2011 Season Launch. Can you believe she had a baby 6 months ago?

When I was searching for info on her David Jones diet, I came across this article from Cleo.

JESSICA ALBA ADMITS “STARVING” ON PREGNANCY DIET

Miranda Kerr, who was back in a swimsuit this week for David Jones just six months after giving birth, would have us believe her pregnancy pounds miraculously dropped off thanks to breast-feeding.

But 30-year-old actress Jessica Alba just can’t be bothered to play the post-baby weight-loss game, instead admitting she finds it hard to manage her pregnancy weight. Really, freakin’, hard.

“I have a hard time with portion control, so I have 1200 calorie meals delivered,” Alba, who is due to give birth to her second child by the end of the month, told Lucky magazine.

“But I also work out, so basically I’m starving. It sucks. I drink a lot of water.”

Alba’s honesty is refreshing, the Spy Kids 4 star even admitting she downright despises the gym.

“In the gym, I have like five things to distract me: TV, iPod, magazines. Working partners are good, too, so you can chat and not just drown in your own misery… Sorry, does that sound bad? I just hate working out.”

Note to Hollywood: keep the honesty coming!

Miranda Kerr’s InStyle Magazine Spread

Here are some photos of Miranda Kerr on the cover of InStyle Magazine. Can you believe she had a baby in January?

Speaking of which, Miranda recently opened up to Sunday magazine about childbirth..

“I’ve never been through so much pain, but I was totally present the entire time, focusing on my breath and meditating.” What kept her going — aside from meeting her first child — was the mindset, “If other women have done this, I can do it,” though she admitted that when the pain was at its worst she thought she was “going to die at one point and left my body. I felt as if I was looking down on myself.”

Here’s the article:

A film-star husband, brand-new baby, red-hot career and spiritual journey—welcome to the life of Miranda Kerr.

She may be known for her preternatural physical attributes, but Miranda Kerr prefers to gaze inwards—call her a Buddhist in a bikini. Her recipe for cultivating spiritual bliss includes meditation, chanting and jump-starting each day with a positive affirmation: “I am a healthy, vibrant being of love and light,” she intones on a recent morning.

A few hours later, she strides purposefully into a Hollywood photographic studio. With her radiant skin, lustrous chestnut hair and glinting blue eyes, Kerr quickly becomes the focus of the 25-plus people on set. Photographers, stylists, assistants, cameramen, publicists, Kerr’s own mother, father, paternal grandparents, even her miniature Yorkshire Terrier, Frankie—for all, the centre of attention at today’s shoot is the model and beauty entrepreneur. It was a similar scene earlier in the week, as InStyle spent a day shadowing Kerr while she was hard at work creating the new David Jones campaign. Still, despite the hive of activity that trails her, Kerr knows how to create an oasis of calm. “Hey cutie pie,” she coos at the baby cradled in her arms. Born to Kerr and husband Orlando Bloom in January, son Flynn is already a regular at shoots. “I’m so blessed that I can bring him to work,” she says.

At 28, Kerr has been working for more than half her lifetime, and the story of her discovery is well-known to most in her home country. She landed on the scene at the age of 13, after winning a teen magazine modelling competition. In 2007 she achieved “super” status by earning her Victoria’s Secret “Angel” wings, the first Australian to do so. The following year, she signed on to her role as ambassador for David Jones. Before you can inquire about how she now toggles between supermodeldom and motherhood, Kerr answers with a move that is both disarming and charming. A deft multi-tasker, she nurses Flynn while being interviewed. She has twice Tweeted candid pictures of herself feeding Flynn—the two of them in bed soon after he was born, and more recently sitting in a make-up chair in a robe and heels, posted with the words: “Another day in the office”. But, like most new mums, she admits to having whittled down her madcap schedule of late. “I was working 18-hour days. Now the pace has slowed so I can spend the majority of my time with Flynn—we have a bath together every night.” Kerr is now “first a wife and a mother, and then comes work,” she explains. “When I work, it needs to be the best decision for us as a family.” She pauses for a moment and asks of one of the Kerr clan in attendance, “What did I do with his burp cloth?”

Kerr’s mother Therese, father John, grandmother Ann, and grandfather Peter, are all here, visiting from Australia. “We’re pretty close,” says Kerr, beaming. For the remainder of the year, they will be seeing more of each other as Kerr and Bloom work on separate projects in the antipodes. July marks the emissary’s triumphant return to the David Jones runways for the retailer’s spring/summer preview; she took a leave of absence last year owing to her marriage and childbirth. “I always have a great time when I go back,” Kerr says. “I grew up [working] with so many of the Australian designers—Lisa Ho, Alex Perry, the Ksubi boys—they were the first shows I ever did and I feel close to them.” Simultaneously, Bloom arrives in New Zealand to reprise his role from The Lord of the Rings trilogy—the flaxen-haired elf, Legolas—in The Hobbit. Kerr is also scheduled to travel to a tropical island for a Victoria’s Secret swimwear shoot, with Flynn in tow. “He’s already been to Paris,” she says, marvelling at her junior jetsetter.
